1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by Areteios LLC ("Areteios," "we," "us," or "our") at areteios.com and related online materials (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Description of Services
The Site is informational. It describes Areteios offerings such as integrations, custom apps, workflows, and training consultations, delivered under the practice we call Grounded Intelligence: full-stack AI products grounded in proprietary knowledge. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer to provide professional services.
Actual client engagements, including scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, and confidentiality, are governed by a separate statement of work, master services agreement, or other written contract between you and Areteios (an "Engagement Agreement"). If there is a conflict between these Terms and an Engagement Agreement, the Engagement Agreement controls for that engagement.
3. Bookings and Consultations
You may request a consultation through our booking page, which uses Google Calendar scheduling. Submitting a booking request or attending an introductory call does not create a binding service contract, guarantee availability for a project, or obligate either party to proceed with paid work.
A paid engagement begins only when both parties execute an Engagement Agreement (or otherwise clearly agree in writing to defined commercial terms). We may reschedule, decline, or cancel consultation slots as needed.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, related systems, or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation, security, or integrity
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content except as permitted by ordinary browser use or our prior written consent
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us or booking a consultation
- Use the Site to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful or unsolicited material
We may suspend or restrict access to the Site if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, branding, logos, graphics, layout, and other materials, are owned by Areteios or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial informational purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except for brief quotations with attribution in ordinary fair-use contexts.
Ownership of work product created under a client engagement is addressed in the applicable Engagement Agreement, not these Terms.
6. Third-Party Services
The Site may embed or link to third-party services, including Google Calendar scheduling. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Areteios is not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control.
7. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that information on the Site is complete, accurate, or current. Marketing descriptions of services are general and do not guarantee specific outcomes for your business.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARETEIOS LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). LIABILITY FOR paid client work is governed exclusively by the applicable Engagement Agreement.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Areteios LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Site is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply, exclusive venue for disputes arising from these Terms or the Site will be in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
13. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Areteios regarding the Site and supersede prior understandings on that subject. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale of assets.
