Areteios LLC ("Areteios," "we," "us," or "our") is a veteran-owned AI architecture firm based in Texas. We provide integrations, custom apps, workflows, training consultations, and ongoing maintenance of the systems we build, delivered under the practice we call Grounded Intelligence: full-stack AI products grounded in proprietary knowledge. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit areteios.com (the "Site"), book a consultation, or otherwise contact us.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Inquiry and contact information. When you email us or otherwise reach out, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company, and the content of your message.
- Booking information. If you schedule a consultation through our booking page, Google Calendar (or a related Google scheduling tool) may collect your name, email address, and other details you enter to set the appointment. That information is processed under Google's practices and made available to us so we can hold the meeting.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Site and its hosting providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for essential site operation, security, and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
- Technical and hosting data. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URLs, and timestamps when you access the Site.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with you
- Schedule and conduct consultations
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
- Provide services under a separate engagement agreement, when applicable
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use contact details you send us for unrelated advertising lists.
4. Third Parties
We rely on trusted service providers that process information on our behalf or as independent controllers of their own platforms:
- Google Calendar / Google scheduling. Consultation booking on /book is powered by Google. Information you submit through that scheduling interface is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms in addition to this Policy.
- Hosting and infrastructure. Our Site is hosted by third-party providers that may process technical logs and content necessary to deliver the Site.
These providers process data according to their own policies and our instructions where they act as our service providers. We encourage you to review their notices as well.
5. Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies may be used so the Site can function securely and reliably. We do not currently use a third-party consent management platform. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.
6. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, for example, to respond to inquiries, manage scheduled consultations, maintain business records, or meet legal requirements. Retention periods vary by context; when information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course of business.
7. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise a privacy request, email info@areteios.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
If your information was provided through Google's scheduling tools or another third-party platform, some requests may also need to be directed to that provider.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
